• A collaborative software development with FromThePage.com now enabling online volunteer transcription of early Missouri State Penitentiary inmate register and St. Louis Criminal Court indexes;
• A 2023 Archives Alive! season the State Archives' interactive theatrical performance program for Missouri's third-, fourth- and fifth-grade students. Nearly 1,400 schoolchildren from across the stat attended one of this year's 18 performances; and
• The 2023 William E. Foley Research Fellowship awarded to Dr. Diane Mutti Burke, University of Missouri-Kansas Citry professor of history, facilitating research on her latest project, Scattered to the Four Winds of the Earth: The Civilian Refugee Crisis in the American Civil War.
